The Best Agency Stops Feeling Like an Outside Agency

One of the best compliments a client has given Codisar was not that our work was fast or technically strong.
Khaled Bentoumi, the co-founder of anyIP, described the relationship this way:
“They don’t feel like an outside agency where you constantly need to follow up, remind people, or explain the same thing over and over.”
It is one of my favorite testimonials because it describes, in the client’s own words, the operating model I intentionally wanted Codisar to have.
When the client is still managing the agency
Many agency relationships look complete on paper. Designers, frontend developers, backend developers, and project managers may all be assigned.
But the client still performs the work that connects them.
The client defines every task, repeats the same context to different people, follows up for progress, discovers missing scenarios, and resolves contradictions between outputs. If one requirement was not stated explicitly, nobody considers it until the omission becomes visible in the product.
The founder or product owner spends time translating the business into technical instructions instead of leading the business itself.
The moving-company difference
Imagine moving into a new house.
A basic moving company carries whatever box you point at. If the sofa does not fit through the door, the problem becomes visible only when the sofa is already stuck. If fragile items were packed badly, they discover that after something breaks.
A strong moving team studies the situation first. They measure the difficult entrance, protect the fragile items, and decide what must move first so one object does not block everything behind it.
You remain the owner of the house. The movers do not decide where your family should live or which belongings matter to you.
But you should not need to manage every box.
Where the responsibility belongs
For example, if a client requests a subscription-management screen, a task vendor may implement only the visible form. A technical partner asks what happens when payment fails, a plan changes during the billing period, or access must continue until the paid period ends.
The client brings knowledge of the business and its customers. The agency uses its experience to surface the decisions needed, explains the options, and coordinates the implementation once those decisions are made.
That preserves the client’s control while giving the technical work an owner. The client should be able to spend their attention on meaningful decisions without having to connect every piece of the delivery themselves.
The goal is for Codisar to become part of their team.
